Worksite address: 109 Governor St., Richmond, Virginia 23219 Interview Type: 1st round online/phone and 2nd In Person Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Telework-required to attain meetings as requested) Short Description: VDH .Net developer and SQL Server Programmer Position Description VDH .Net/SQL Server Programmer developer LOCAL Candidates ON-SITE interview: *Candidates MUST agree to ONSITE interviews, NO exceptions. Might do a phone screen filter if the applicant count is high. Candidates will be required to come onsite sometimes for project plans, meetings etc. NO exceptions *please do not submit candidates who have been submitted to previous VDH .NET reqs. Works as part of the Virginia Department of Health, Office of Information Management (VDH) to develop and maintain multiple .NET applications. Specific Task(s): * Develop, Maintain And Enhance ASP.NET/MVC and .NET Core applications * Expertise in C#, JQuery, Javascript, HTML * Good SQL development skills Required Skill set: C# .NET – 5 + years experience HTML, Jquery & Javascript - 5+ years Web Design and development SQL Server – DB design/development – 5 + years Very good Communication skills and documentation skills Preferred skill set: Gitlab and DevSecOps 1+ years Agile development methodology – 2+ years Microsoft M365 knowledge - Azure cloud, Power platform Skills Required / Desired Years of Experience required Candidate has C# .NET web application design and development Required 8 years SQL Server 2019 + (SQL programming and DB design) Required 8 years Java Script/JQuery Required 5 years Very good communication skills and documentation skills Required 5 years GitLab & DevSecOps Desired 1 years Telerik Desired 3 years M365 Power platform and Azure cloud Desired 2 years Question 1 Commonwealth of Virginia security policies prohibit the use of offshore IT contractors.
