Job Description: 
*	Looking for a Test Engineer to support our Advanced Technology Software Engineering Team. 
*	As a member of the Software Engineering department you’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, superconducting foundry engineers, and software engineers to make our technologies a reality. 
*	This position will serve on-site at Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL) in Linthicum, MD.
Responsibilities: 
*	Stand-up software test architecture for a legacy COTS application
*	Collaborate with developers, SM, and PO’s to identify critical tests
*	Write and perform all tests to ensure quality software products prior to software release
Basic Qualifications for Test Engineer: 
*	Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience
*	Working knowledge in one of the following languages: C++, Winforms
*	Experience in developing unit tests, refactoring code, and smoke tests
*	Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
*	This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred Qualifications for Test Engineer: 
*	Experienced in creating and deploying a test architecture for legacy applications
*	Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
*	Utilized Atlassian software suite
*	Experience working within an agile scrum framework
Requirements: 
*	Test Engineer – Design and develop an automated test software suite for a legacy application.
*	Supporting a legacy COTS software with C++, Winform, and MySQL backend.
*	Following the agile framework: 2 week sprints with backlog refinement and planning & Complete work within sprint with the review/support of teammates.
*	Initial training and understanding of the application suite completed during onboarding.
*	Technical on-the-job training with access to team for questions when executing work.
