We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to work on-site at our Austin, Texas client creating a well-informed AWS cloud strategy and managing the adaptation process.
Responsibiites include:
• Determine AWS cloud requirements by analyzing business operations, applications, and security; reviewing business objectives; and evaluating current systems.
• Obtain AWS cloud design requirements, develop and implement cloud designs for new
projects, and maintain existing cloud designs and architectures.
• Develop AWS cloud infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Implement corresponding AWS cloud architecture changes to support new and modified systems and ensure that new designs conform to standards and guidelines; are consistent, normalized, and perform as required; and are secure from unauthorized access or update.
• Provide guidelines on creating AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Review changes, realizing their impacts on enterprise cloud architecture, and ensures that the impacts are communicated to appropriate parties.
• Establish measures to chart progress related to the completeness and quality of AWS cloud architecture for enterprise usage; and to improve cloud performance.
• Communicate and collaborate in a professional and timely manner.
• Perform related work as assigned.
Requirements

4-7            Strong experience in architecting, designing, and implementing AWS services: S3, EC2, Lambda, Glacier, SNS, EBS, CloudFront, SQS, VPC
4-7            Implementing cloud architecture
4-7            Experience with CI/CD pipeline
4-7            Creating AWS cloud strategies
Preferred

3            Overseeing and working with vendors
3            Project work
3            Familiarity with ServiceNow / Ticketing System
