About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Desktop/Technical Support Technician to support the Department of Veterans Services' (DVS) Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center. This role requires onsite presence from Day 1, with occasional (10%) travel to remote benefits offices in the Richmond/Hampton Roads area. The technician will assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile phones.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:
*	Support of IT devices and hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices).
*	Proficient in Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, McAfee Anti-Virus, Adobe Acrobat, and more.
*	Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN environments, network protocols, and mobile device setups.
*	Manage IT inventory control and assist with ticketing and reporting systems.
*	Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
*	Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Requirements:
*	Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required for occasional travel.
*	Ability to work independently and efficiently, with a customer-focused approach.
