Job Description:
The .NET Developer will support the modernization of an enterprise tolling transaction platform undergoing a partial rewrite using microservices and modularization. The developer will work within an Agile/Scrum team and contribute to the development of backend services and application components using .NET Core and C#. This role collaborates with solution architects, cloud engineers, SQL developers, API developers, and testers and reports to the Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
*	Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core backend services and APIs.
*	Collaborate with SQL developers to implement efficient data access patterns.
*	Contribute to modernization of the tolling platform using microservices and modular architecture.
*	Develop new application features and enhance existing functionalities.
*	Participate in performance optimization efforts across application layers.
*	Integrate with Azure-based components and cloud services.
*	Support CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps or GitHub pipelines.
*	Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver sprint commitments.
Required Skills
*	7+ years of experience developing applications using .NET Core and C#.
*	Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
*	Experience consuming and integrating with SQL Server on Azure VM environments.
*	Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices.
*	Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD pipelines.
*	Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
*	Experience integrating backend systems with ETL pipelines such as SSIS or Databricks.
*	Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Desired Skills
*	Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.
*	Familiarity with domain-driven design and microservices.
*	Experience with distributed systems or high-availability environments.
*	Understanding of tolling or transportation systems (preferred but not required).
