Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Microsoft SQL Developer to support the modernization of a high-volume enterprise tolling platform. The role focuses on developing, optimizing, and modernizing SQL Server solutions in an Azure VM environment while supporting a microservices-based application architecture. You'll work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver scalable, high-performance database solutions.
Key Responsibilities
*	Develop and optimize T-SQL stored procedures, functions, views, and queries. 
*	Perform SQL performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization. 
*	Modernize legacy SQL code, database schemas, and support cloud-hosted SQL workloads. 
*	Collaborate with .NET Core/C# developers on database integrations. 
*	Build and maintain ETL processes using SSIS and Databricks. 
*	Support Always On Availability Groups and high-availability environments. 
*	Deploy database changes using Azure DevOps and GitHub CI/CD pipelines. 
*	Ensure PCI compliance, database security, and data retention standards. 
*	Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint-based development. 
Required Qualifications
*	10+ years of IT experience with 7+ years of SQL Server development in enterprise environments. 
*	Strong expertise in T-SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization. 
*	Experience with SQL Server on Azure VM (IaaS). 
*	Hands-on experience with Always On Availability Groups. 
*	Experience modernizing legacy SQL databases and cloud-hosted SQL workloads. 
*	Experience working with .NET Core/C# teams. 
*	Experience using Azure DevOps, GitHub CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. 
Preferred Qualifications
*	Experience with SSIS and Databricks. 
*	Knowledge of PCI compliance and database security. 
*	Experience with Terraform/Infrastructure as Code (IaC). 
*	Familiarity with microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and high-transaction SQL environments.
