Onsite Contract Position for Multi Cloud (Azure and AWS) Infrastructure Architect in NYC, NY - Hybrid - 3 days a week
Locations: NYC, NY - Hybrid - 3 days a week Duration: Contract Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Multi-Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and implementation of a large-scale, cloud-native email delivery platform supporting a strategic Wealth Management initiative. This is a hands-on architecture role requiring deep expertise in AWS, Azure, cloud modernization, and enterprise infrastructure at scale. Required Skills: * 12+ years of IT Infrastructure/Cloud Architecture experience * Strong experience with AWS and Azure (multi-cloud/hybrid environments) * Expertise in Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Docker, Redis, and cloud-native architectures * Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) * Strong Python and Shell scripting skills for infrastructure automation * Experience with enterprise observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) * Solid understanding of cloud security principles, networking, high availability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning * Experience designing and supporting large-scale enterprise environments (100K+ users preferred) * Excellent stakeholder management and technical leadership skills Preferred: * Financial Services or Banking domain experience * Knowledge of high-volume messaging/email infrastructure * Experience leading cloud transformation and modernization initiatives
